Rolling 22

Defenders:

Elliot Yeo
Lachie Whitfield
Gus Brayshaw
Rory Laird
Jake Lloyd
Kade Simpson

Who to bring in? Lachie Whitfield (DEF, $749,000) Is officially a must have and it’s hard to believe 75% of the competition are still rolling without him. After an indifferent start to the year and some serious struggles with a tag, it is all behind him with a five round average of 123, making him one of the form players of the competition and of course the bonus is you can grab him as a defender. He is on a streak of five hundreds and this week comes up against the Crows who he had 106 on earlier in the year.

Midfielders:

Tom Mitchell
Patrick Cripps
Jack Macrae
Zach Merrett
Josh Kelly
Matt Crouch
Clayton Oliver
Stephen Coniglio

OUT: Beamer and Gaff

Who to bring in? Seb Ross (MID, $698,000) If you are in the market for a unique player that is in red hot form and under $700K, it would be rude not to consider Ross. Owned by just 1% of the competition, he is on a hot streak with a three round average of 129, helped by a lazy 160 on the weekend where he managed to hit the scoreboard with three goals. He has a break even of 63 which reflects his good form and his next three games are at Etihad where he has scored 160 and 121 in his last two.

Taylor Adams (MID, $669,000) is another unique who is in ripping form. Taking full advantage of Adam Treloar’s absence, he is officially back to top form with a three game average which includes impressive scores of 134 and 135. Remember he was one of the elite midfielders last season and I am a big fan of his run home with games against the Lions, Power (MCG) and the Dockers.

Rucks:

Brodie Grundy
Max Gawn

Forwards:

Josh Dunkley
Sam Menegola
Devon Smith
Justin Westhoff
Patrick Dangerfield
Chad Wingard

OUT: Tom Rockliff

Who to bring in? Josh Dunkley (FWD/MID, $664,000) I keep whipping this, but it’s only because I care about you guys and want you to have a good team. Dunkley remains as my number one forward on the back of another dominant display through the midfield. He is currently rocking a five round average of 111 and a three round average 116. The kick is a ball winning tackling machine and he has his next two games at Etihad where he has a lowest score of 109 in his last three.

Downgrade target:

Ryan Abbot (RUC, $206,000) made an awesome, long awaited debut for the Cats with an impressive 93. The mature ager who has been in outstanding VFL form transitioned beautifully with 27 hit outs, ten possessions and a whopping seven tackles.  He went at 80% with the ball and it will be interesting to see how long he hangs around with the pending return of Rhys Stanley.

My Trades:

O’Riordan to a basement rook,

Martin to Grundy
