    Rank 600

Trades right now, O-Mac-> Abbott, Gray-> Gaff with $52k

    Or Gray-> Gaff +150k

I think I might be able to go Smith-> the Swans Irish rookie if he plays and still pick up Gaff:

    Leaves me:

Laird, Lloyd, Yeo, Simmo, Howe, Doedee (Lynch, Smith)

Titch, Cogs, Kelly, Zerrett, Gaff, Neale, Cripps, Gibbs (Ahern, Sier)

    Gawn, Grundy (Abbott, Cameron)

Smith, Rocky, Wingard, McLean, Sic, Fritta (Apeness, Wilson)

I’m thinking I might be better off saving the O-Mac downgrade for another week, just so I know I have $120k in the bank. Looking at either Fritta-> Hoff or Doedee-> possibly Whitfield next week

I’m looking at my team wondering where the next $120k is coming from. At this time of year, it’s either grab fallen premos or save your dosh so you can buy ubers. Gaff’s pricey, but probably worth it. Doedee aside, your team’s finished. Nice work

      July 10, 2018 at 8:20 am

Same thing I’m thinking Alex.. I can downgrade Big O this week and grab Gaff, or I can save that cash for another week and bring in O’Roirdan which means I can only nab Cogs, Pendles or Crouch.

      • Simon

        July 10, 2018 at 2:46 pm

Remember, past performance doesn’t guarantee future performance. You’ll pay a premium for Gaff due to scores he’s already got. Cogs, Pendles or Crouch could easily outscore him from here on, which is all you should really care about.

DEF: Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Simpson, Whitfield, Ryan (Redman, Smith)
MID: Mitchell, Kellly, Sidebottom, Coniglio, Cripps, Merrett, Crouch, Sier (Banfield, Narkle)
    RUCK: Martin, Gawn (McInerney, Cameron)
FWD: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Wingard, Rockliff, Ahern (Guelfi, Ronke)

    Cash: $204k

Currently have gone Ryan to Sicily and Redman to Lynch, leaving $137k for next week, Thoughts?

Big O to Abbott, Steven up to Gaff.

      July 10, 2018 at 11:38 am

Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Whitfield, Goddard, Doedee (Mihocek, Redman)

Titch, Kelly, Gaff, Neale, Sidebottom, Merrett, Parker, JOM (Sier, Smith)

      Gawn, Martin (Abbott, Cameron)

Maclean, Sic, Rocky, Wingard, Billings, Petracca (Ahern, Wilson)

Need to get a defender bench rookie but not sure whether I should get Lynch which gives me enough cash to turn Guelfi into Rocky or go with O’Riordan (if named) and then Guelfi can go to Laird?

    • Jack

      July 10, 2018 at 1:54 pm

Get the irishman if he’s named. This point in the year I reckon the quick cash grabs are more important for completing your team than the slow burn cash cow strategy of earlier in the season. You need Laird.

    • the cricket

      July 10, 2018 at 7:30 pm

Depends whether it’s for D7 or D8. Lynch is more expensive but has short term JS and his BE’s low so he’ll probably make as much cash as quickly as the cheaper rook. And he’s shown he can play and score. It’s a tough one!

  5. Jack

    July 10, 2018 at 1:51 pm

Anyone considering Breust (for Fritsch)? I know it seems foolish but I’m in the top 3000 and a decent unique would help me climb further, plus he’s $30k cheaper than sic dog who is the other guy I’m considering. Reckon he can maintain form, if he kicks goals he tons up. They’re gonna try and get it in his hands surely?

  6. smile

    July 10, 2018 at 2:23 pm

Kerr to Dusty or mihocek to Heppell ?

  7. Thom

    July 10, 2018 at 2:25 pm

I’ll be holding Fritta for one more week, 126 last time against the dogs, his highest score ever. Thinking of upgrading Howe to Brayshaw instead, he had a 130 against the dogs, then Fritta can go to Heeney next week after Heeney’s price drop.

  8. Ross

    July 10, 2018 at 3:58 pm

Will Dangerfield get DPP next week?

    • wolfpack

      July 10, 2018 at 6:51 pm

if warnie has him he will, if he doesn’t then he won’t

      • Warnie

        July 10, 2018 at 7:04 pm

I don’t have him. Let’s see what happens on Sunday night then.

        • wolfpack

          July 11, 2018 at 8:16 am

Hope he does because I have him lol and he’s a shadow of himself from last year

    • Andy.J

      July 10, 2018 at 7:26 pm

Could be a certainty. That’s why the cats need a new coach!

  9. Rocky Road

    July 10, 2018 at 7:19 pm

    Dunkley buddy or walters ?

    • Andy.J

      July 10, 2018 at 7:41 pm

I wouldn’t take any of them; Walters if you’re desperate.

    • Finish My Team Please

      July 11, 2018 at 11:01 am

Buddy is the one that can make a difference. Kicks 7 and can have a 140, the other 2 cant.

  10. Shags

    July 10, 2018 at 8:12 pm

I Did a bit of a backwards move this week, and it backfired big time.

I have $667k in the kitty (due to culling Fyfe last week as part of a double downgrade to Sier and Narkle, convincing myself they were both must have).

    My two main decisions are.

    1. Redman to Lynch (consolidating my def bench and avoiding another simmo like donut) and Grab a mid premo (Gaff?)

    2. Risk def bench for one more week, and go a double upgrade. I cant get both gaff and jelwood, but maybe I should go cheaper options such as like Beams and Crouch.

NOTE: Im thinking about bench loopholing Seedman (yeah I still have him) so if he scores a dud score again, consider trading Lynch or even a def premo in instead.

    • Shags

      July 10, 2018 at 8:37 pm

I could go Jelwood and Crouch

Or I could do something tricky dicky like Gaff and Whitfield (setting up for an inevitable Seedsman cull)

  11. Rocky Road

    July 10, 2018 at 8:38 pm

Is there any defender or forward under 200k worrth getting?

    • Shags

      July 10, 2018 at 8:50 pm

Need to wait for teamsheets and then it would be a stab in the dark.

Lynch just above $200k is worth getting.

    • Alan J

      July 11, 2018 at 6:32 am

Colin O’Riordan has been getting a big wraps in the 2s all year as a DEF for Sydney

  12. Shags

    July 10, 2018 at 9:26 pm

Harley Bennell (Fwd $249,000) could get a game this week. Anyone jumping on if he is named?

    • Grovers Guns

      July 11, 2018 at 9:23 am

Would be worth waiting a week
Tricky price and BE plus injury concern first up
Gets through ok and trains early in week, then jump on next week

  13. Jake

    July 10, 2018 at 10:26 pm

    Gaff or Oliver (+63k)?

    • Shags

      July 10, 2018 at 10:32 pm

    • Alan J

      July 11, 2018 at 6:36 am

Toss a coin really.. Both have a pretty easy run in the next 4 weeks and should score about the same (115+) so I’d take the extra $$ from Oliver

  14. Grovers Guns

    July 11, 2018 at 9:25 am

Don’t have enough $$ to play Fritsch and bench Ahern as well as bring in Laird or DSmith
So going to trade Fritsch and play Ahern this week
Which is the better pick up – DSmith or Laird (Sicily DPP)

  15. M8

    July 11, 2018 at 10:26 am

DEF: Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Simpson, Whitfield, Ryan (Redman, Smith)
MID: Mitchell, Kellly, Sidebottom, Coniglio, Cripps, Merrett, Crouch, Sier (Banfield, Narkle)
    RUCK: Martin, Gawn (McInerney, Cameron)
FWD: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Wingard, Rockliff, Ahern (Guelfi, Ronke)

    Cash: $204k

Currently have gone Ryan to Sicily and Redman to Lynch, leaving $137k for next week, Thoughts??

  16. Finish My Team Please

    July 11, 2018 at 10:57 am

Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Simpson, Whitfield, Sicily (Pearce, Smith)
Mitchell, Kelly, Gaff, Beams, Gibbs, Merrett, Pendlebury, Danger (Sier, Poholke)
Gawn, Martin ( Big O, Cameron)
Smith, McLean, Henney, Rocky, Billings, Gray (Ahern, Wilson)

    Have 20k

Big O to a 170k and Robbie to?

Sicily forward to get Brayshaw or Sicily back to get Hoff?

    • Grovers Guns

      July 11, 2018 at 11:04 am

Normally I would say Brayshaw but Hoff has been so consistent and good. Can see him going big this weekend as well unfortunately.
      I would probably go Hoff

      • Finish My Team Please

        July 11, 2018 at 11:12 am

No Bont for the Dogs this week. Think Hunter hurt his ankle late last week aswell. Don’t know where the touches will even go now. Hoff will get 100 to 110 every week it seems but Brayshaw has that bang in him.

Another thought is double downgrade to cash up with the hope Danger is a forward next week. Go get another mid then.

  17. Agnew

    July 11, 2018 at 6:49 pm

Crouch vs. Heppell (+56k) for the final spot in my midfield?

  18. Shags

    July 11, 2018 at 8:52 pm

    1. Jelwood (slot VC on him)

    2. Gaff

      Sicily, (dpp, cheaper, more consistent)

  20. stan
