    Team Name: Christian Petractor
    Round 2 Scores: 2012
    League Results: W
Studs: Laird, Titch, J and T Kelly, Smith, Holman, Christensen, Finlayson
Duds: HIbberd, Lloyd, Treloar, Billings, Martin, Gawn
On the Chopping Block: Hibberd, Treloar
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Very ordinary week with Hibberd yet again killing me, really thinking of getting rid of him this week. Treloar’s another one that I might look to move on, looked pretty slow out there and if I downgrade to a Coniglio or Cripps I could get Hibberd up to Simpson

  2. Buckz Boyz

    April 2, 2018 at 6:09 pm

    Team Name: CB20
    Round 2 Scores: 1977…
    League Results: L
Studs: Laird, Titch, Finalyson, Jelly, Cogs, Holaman, Nank, Smith.
    Duds: Everyone else.
On the Chopping Block: Everyone. Delete team.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: 30k overall. No Tim Kelly has ruined my entire season, got Rayner instead in essence.
Rayner has to go, Kelly has to get in even though it’s already too late. Beams out until Round 15 too. Holding Zerrett against dogs.

    • Smithy

      April 2, 2018 at 8:11 pm

Beams is out until round 15? What happened? I can’t see anything on the Lions website.

      • iridium192

        April 2, 2018 at 10:19 pm

Why surprised. Hardly a year goes by that Beams doesn’t miss significant games. A definate POD if you picked him in the first place.

    • Alan J

      April 3, 2018 at 8:26 am

The Rayner one hurts.. Luckily I couldn’t afford him at Rd 1 so brought in Fogarty..

Duds: Sicily, O’Shea, Zerrett, O’Meara, Stef, Gawn, Billings
On the Chopping Block: Zerrett, Dow
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Traded out Mills even after 90 last week. Didn’t like his role and ended scoring 50 this week.

Studs: Titch, Kelly, Cogs, Finlayson, Smith, Gibbs, Ryan

    Duds: Billings, Merret

On the Chopping Block: Merret but ive lost so much money I may need to just hold

Vent/Brag/Whatever: Going petracca>taranto for some money and potential higher score, unsure about second trade, got lucky with greene being a late out so I got ryans 91. Inside the top 2000 after what I thought was a just ok week so pretty happy with that.

Vent/Brag/Whatever: Parker, Lloyd and Bonner were all headed for the ton before Port started winning. I blame it all on Port.

  8. Justin11

    April 2, 2018 at 6:21 pm

Not bad considering I was missing Greene and Duncan, and stupidly put English in the fwds. Not as good as last week but still moved into the top 400.

    1993 points.

    +3 taranto finlayson and kelly
-3 Billings, Gawn, Lloyd, Merrett, Petracca, Rayner, Beams, Duncan (!!),

My team looks awesome on paper but 7 of my “premos” scored 70s. I’ll be going Rayner to Liam Ryan and one of Duncan, Merrett and Beams to Gibbs.

    What a terrible terrible week.

  11. JungleMuffin

    April 2, 2018 at 6:25 pm

    Duds: Ellis, T Greene.

#21 for the round and now 340th overall. Wasn’t too far off winning another prize. Would have got 2nd or 3rd if got my bench right. Would be sitting in top 10 if I’d gotten my rookie selections right these last 2 weeks.

Not bad considering I didn’t start researching/building my team until the night before lockout xD

    • j

      April 2, 2018 at 6:34 pm

Congrats JMuffin – glad Selwood came through and played for you. That’s an awesome score.

I was thinking at the start of the day I might be able to match you if Sicily/O’Meara had good 90+ games. My shot at fame didn’t work out….

      • JungleMuffin

        April 2, 2018 at 6:48 pm

Cheers mate. I definitely got lucky and overachieved this round.

You still scored well above average this round, so you’ve got a good team. It’s a marathon, so you’ll have a few more chances before the season’s over. Good luck!

    2121 here.

Duds & low scores on ground: O’Shea, O’Meara, Sicily, Murray, Fristch, Waterman

Trades: if no selection changes next week, I’m looking at luxury trades. Don’t think I’ve yet missed the boat on Tim Kelly. Will trade out Banfield (who was tagging a bit last game), and one of O’Shea/Naughton to make the cash for it.

  16. true beavers

    Studs: Titch, Kelly, Laird, Whitfield
    Duds: Young, Rayner
On the Chopping Block: Young & Rayner
Vent/Brag/Whatever: I am happy with my strategy – trades this week will give me a good forward line with cash to improve the backline next week/week after to set up for the DPPs later. Other than Rayner my rookies are doing okay. Of course injuries could stuff this up completely

  17. Jack

    April 2, 2018 at 6:36 pm

by the way if you really hate a particular player and want to see them seriously injured, you monster, just let me know and i’ll trade them into my fantasy team.

    • true beavers

haha – that was me last year. Of course the season is young, it still might be me this year

    • JungleMuffin

      April 2, 2018 at 6:51 pm

That’s me with Sicily. It crossed my mind to pick him before round 1, but I hate him and couldn’t bring myself to do it.

      • The Cricket

        April 2, 2018 at 9:07 pm

I picked him, against my better judgement! He’s too bloody hot-tempered. And now it looks like he might be in trouble with the mrp. If he does cop a suspension it’ll be just the excuse I need to offload him – his scores have been pretty poor anyway.

  18. Lachlan

    League Results: WWWWW
Studs: Laird, Finlayson, Titch, Dusty, both Kellys, Devon Smith
    Duds: Merrett, Rayner
    On the Chopping Block: Rayner
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Pretty annoyed that my trades were reversed after lockout for whatever reason and so I wasn’t able to get Rayner out. Luckily my team was unscathed after last week so it wasn’t a complete disaster. If my trades went through I would have got another 60 points or so (and got price rises from Acres and Crowden).

  19. Baron

    April 2, 2018 at 6:50 pm

    Ranking outside 5000.

  23. Brad

    April 2, 2018 at 7:33 pm

Are we getting a bit carried away with Zerrett? Bloke had a concussion affected game. Then had to fly to Perth and got a hard tag, probably wasn’t 100% either. Bloke is still a top 4-5 mid in my eyes

    • Billy

      April 2, 2018 at 7:39 pm

He’ll likely keep copping attention though

      • KareBear

        April 3, 2018 at 3:56 pm

Even with tagging attention, I think Zerret will end up overcoming it to be a top 6-7 mid…

I am one of the lucky ones to of not picked him early…Looked overpriced…

Monitoring the breakeven score, and once it turns good, he will be a perfect uptrade target most likely in 2-4 rounds time….

      From the terms and conditions:

“Only one Eligible Entry per Eligible Participant (and per email address supplied) will be accepted. Eligible Participants may also choose to participate in private or public leagues, which will not affect their score calculation in any way.”

If you win any prize, you will be ineligible due to having multiple entries (don’t think they won’t check)

Last week I had ZMerrett and Burton combine for a grand total of 42… this week I brought in M Crouch. That’s over $2.1 million spent for a return of 75 points.
I’d like to say that if you ever needed proof that ass beats class, just read that last sentence again… Yet somehow, somehow after two disastrous rounds, over 80,000 teams have scored less? It’s gonna be a long season!
