AFL Team Sheets – Round 2

All the important INs and OUTs of round 2, brought to you by @JelmsDT.

Round two teams are beginning to drop, kicking off with team sheets for Thursday nights clash between the Crows and the Tigers.
Adelaide has regained captain Taylor Walker (Fwd $568,000) who returns from injury, whilst Wayne Milera (Mid/Fwd $426,000) also receives a call-up for the crows. Making way for these two are Richard Douglas (Mid $544,000) who is set to serve his one-match suspension and Curtly Hampton (Mid $430,000) who misses with a groin complaint.

For the reigning premiers, Bachar Houli (Def $637,000) returns in place of  Nick Vlastuin (Def $452,000) in an otherwise unchanged starting lineup.

Make sure you have your Crows and Tigers players sorted, as after the rolling lockout begins they won’t be able to be traded!

North Melbourne v St. Kilda

Squads for both North and the Saints remain unchanged following last weeks matches.

Carlton v Gold Coast

For the Suns, Aaron Hall (Mid $690,000) returns from injury whilst Matt Rosa (Mid $530,000) has been omitted from the side. Popular preseason option Cameron O’Shea (Def 231,000) has been called up by the blues for his first game of the season.

Collingwood v Greater Western Sydney

Tom Scully (Mid $576,000) returns from an injury layoff much to the delight of the Giants, starting from the bench. For the Pies, Mason Cox (Ruc/Fwd $406,000) is out serving his suspension, whilst Josh Smith (Def $557,000) is sidelined through injury. Coming in for the duo are Callum Brown (Mid/Fwd $285,000) and Matthew Scharenberg (Def $548,000).

Fremantle v Essendon

The Dockers have gone ahead and announced their third and fourth debutants for the opening two games of this season, blooding last years number five draft pick Adam Cerra (Mid $262,000) and Mitch Crowden (Fwd/Mid $170,000)Stephan Hill (Mid $553,000) also returns for the Dockers clash with Essendon. Essendon has announced an unchanged lineup, most importantly for Fantasy coaches holding Zach Merrett (Mid $769,000) who has overcome his concussion sustained last week against Adelaide.

Brisbane v Melbourne

Brisbane regain Rhys Matthieson (Mid/Fwd $506,00) with Tom Bell (Fwd $416,000) making way. Following their narrow loss last week, the Dees have announced an unchanged starting lineup.

Western Bulldogs v West Coast Eagles

Ed Richards (Def $240,000) has been called up for his AFL debut by the Bulldogs. He is joined by Tom Boyd (Ruck $451,000) and Mitch Wallis (Mid/Fwd $526,000) who replace the injured Tom Liberatore (Mid $469,000), Hayden Crozier (Fwd $447,000) and Fletcher Roberts (Def $273,000). West Coast has announced the debut of exciting small forward Willie Rioli (Fwd $170,000).

Sydney v Port Adelaide

Leading the ins is none other than Dan Hannebery (Mid $665,000) who is named on the Sunday extended bench. Port have regained Robbie Gray (Fwd $572,000) after serving his one-match ban following a head high hit in the JLT series.

Geelong v Hawthorn

Arguably the biggest in of the round is Patrick Dangerfield (Mid $849,000) who returns from a minor hamstring strain. Danger has been named as a follower and with only 12.34% ownership, still proves to be somewhat of a POD for fantasy coaches.

All good scores so far, particularly happy that Jacobs did well.

With Cam O’shea being named would you get him in or would you look at Zac Guthrie? That is my question for the round.

Guthrie will make you cash this week however had a lot of low scores last year however kept his spot so therefore has good js.
O’Shea won’t make as much money this week and would probably be best to wait a week until we see his role, and whether he is able to keep his spot in the side.

worried about Venables, because if I knew now that he was out I’d be making different trades.

        March 30, 2018 at 10:12 pm

Think it will be a bit more harder for titch to run a muck on Geelong, but with the pig who knows… if i had the opportunity to lock 127 id seriously think about it..thats a good score…one more thing to consider with titch is he handballs alot..54 disposals only got him to 156.. that world record should of got him to 200….

Deos anyone know if they are fixing the problem with trading and not being able to move a DPP into a different position line e.g. trading a midfielder out a nd not able to move a mid/forward into the position

Seems they’ve got a lot of technical issues right now – I don’t get it, its been near-perfect the last few years

I did an advanced trade on Friday, traded out Rayner (FWD), moved Sicily (DEF->FWD) and traded in Z Guthrie (DEF). I also played around with others such as moving FWDs to MID and others before reversing them earlier in the week so the system was working fine for me.
