On the Line with Stu – Round 10

Our boy Stu is back for another week after cashing in on heaps of bets last round. Check them out for round 10.

fyfeTough going last week but I’m really liking what i see in round 10, good value to be had.

As always the lines, odds and markets are bought to you by William Hill. Sign up HERE is you want to get involved.

Fremantle (-29.5) over Richmond

Away we go, Friday night and a home game for the Dockers. I think the bookies are respecting Richmond a little too much here. Freo smashed North 2 weeks ago at home, same result here.

Value – Fremantle first loss of the year – Round 15 vs Hawthorn – $3.15

Great little market here from William Hill. The Dockers run looks like Richmond this week at home then Gold Coast away round 11, the bye, Magpies at home round 13, Lions home at home round 14. Round 15 they play Hawthorn in Launceston, which is no easy task. $3.15 Locked!

Adelaide (-23.5) over Carlton

Good ins for Carlton and the crows are coming off 2 straight losses but last week they hung with the Dockers all the way and will be looking to get back in the winners column.

Value – Most Disposals – Group A – Scott Thompson – $3.15

Danger went off last week but expect him to get some close attention from Curnow or Carrazzo allowing Thompson to get free. He’s made us some money already this year, let’s try again.

Gold Coast (+64.5) Over Sydney

Same deal as last week with Sydney, too many points to cover. Add in they are away this week all points to a Gold Coast bet.

Value – Bondi Billionaires vs. Gold Coast – Franklin and Tippett – $3.30

This is basically will Buddy and Tippett outscore the Suns. It’s not that I think the 2 will go off their nuts and kick 10 each, more that I think they will keep the suns score fairly low. Gold Coasts last 3 games their total has been 40, 63 and 46, Buddy had 42 by himself last week.

Geelong (-2.5) over Essendondownload (1)

Look I know I took the Cats to cover last week against the Eagles but that was stupid. This one I really like, over reaction by bookies after the whooping Geelong took last Sunday to a really good Eagles team particularly when they are home.

Value – Joel Selwood – under 25.5 Disposals – $1.80

Selwood has been down, 3 straight weeks under 20 touches plus Essendon historically do a pretty good job on him.

Western Bulldogs (+28.5) over Port Adelaide

Picken and The Bont are big outs for the Dogs but Ports last month has been a sluggish, even with a 10 goal victory over the Dees last week in some paddock somewhere.

Most Disposals – Group B – Mitch Wallace – $4.00

Worry he may get more attention with the outs but he had 36 touches last week and is in group B with good odds, I’m sold.

Brisbane (+46.5) over GWS

GWS burnt me bad last week and I’m not going to lie; I’m as bitter as a Boag’s Draught. the Lions should get close even at Spotless.

Any Dane Will Do – Dayne Beams OR Dane Swan has over 30 Disposals – $1.70

You have 2 chances with student and master pig. I like those odds.

West Coast (-6.5) over North Melbourne*

Interested to see how West Coast travel against an ok team. More interested to see a line of number of Eagles playing in long sleeves, wind and 14 the forecast on Sunday for Hobart I’ll set the line at 7.5 players.

St Kilda (+57.5) over Hawthorn*

The Hawks are in 2nd gear at the moment and the Saints play Etihad pretty well, like the points.

Collingwood (-23.5) over Melbourne

Last 4 of these games have been a blow outs and even though the gaps between these teams has shrunk, especially over the last 12 months, still expecting Collingwood to cover.

Good luck to those out there having a flutter but please remember to gamble responsible.
