Stevie J v Ablett: Round 10 Review

Oh boy, Stevie J didn’t exactly ‘smash the minnow’ team like we expected, instead he played on the best in the league… Gary Ablett. Maybe we should have gone with Gaz as captain or we should go back to our mantra, Keep Calm and Lock Swan. Anyway, it’s time for the Round Review for Round 10!

Whatever!!! Well, for the first time in five weeks, I moved back up the rankings to 62nd overall (having been 4th in Rd 5). On paper, my team is just as good as the current top 5 – except for one small detail: I have Murphy instead of Barlow. Plus, I didn’t have the guts to stick with Ablett as captain, and for some stupid reason I played Staker on the field ahead of Vlastuin.

She’s a harsh mistress the SS. Dreamteam Captain Calvin.

    DT Duds: Franklin, JJK, myself
On the Chopping Block: Mayes, Rowe, Currie
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Ended up 39th this week, if I had started Ablett as captain I could have been number 1…oh well. Shot up to 625 overall, never been so high for the week or overall ever. Stevie J let me down as captain, but Calvin was spot on with his information so as usual I roll with the Captain and I will set sail with him again this week as long as he picks Ablett :)

Not sure. It hasn’t been raised here much, because the majority of coaches don’t care as they are going to trade him out regardless.
