    Eliminator Status: w
DT Studs: Buddy, SMJ, Watson, Godd, Drummond, Zorko, Chappy
DT Duds: Thompson, Sidey as my Cap :(
    On the Chopping Block: none
    Trades this week: none
Vent/Brag/Whatever: I was happy with Drummonds 105pts :) as I had to play him for Shaw being out

    June 4, 2012 at 10:27 am

    Team Name: Ken’s Colossi
    Round 10 Score: 1,993
    League Results: L
Eliminator Status: Got done this week by 50odd points
DT Studs: GAJ, Buddy, Lids, Goddard, Hale(!), Zorko
DT Duds: Pendles, Sidebum, Thompson, Horse, Hargrave
On the Chopping Block: Old McDonald
Trades this week: Old Mac out, Robbo to mids and Beams into Fwd line…already done.

Pendles as skipper probably cost me both League and Eliminator…some stinking scores on the field this week.

Thrilled that Redden, Smedts and Hall all got a run and did ok, if they get games this week it’ll make a huge difference to my donut count.

If Pendles, Swan and Shaw are all available (a big if), and the three rooks mentioned above all play, then it’ll be no donuts for me this week. So really anywhere from 0-4 I s’pose.

Anyone thinking of jumping off the Dusty Martin train??, still owned by 32% of teams and has dropped $40K in value and only produced two 100’s. Or is a “resurgent” Richmond going to see him get back to being a forward keeper averaging 100 or so?? I know sideways trades are a DT taboo but is anyone cutting ties with him?

I think that you could only really get rid of him as part of your bye planning with a sneaky upgrade to Beams or Stevie J in a couple of weeks. Anything else is probably “too” sideways for a player of Dusty’s character who, as you say, could easily come good and average closer to 100 for the rest of the season.

Personally, I’ll be keeping him as a floating emergency between M7/F8 depending on where he’s needed most each week.

    June 4, 2012 at 12:33 pm

    Team Name: Sausagedoggers FC
    Round 10 Score: 2189
League Results: Won – took 1st spot from Dr Dreamteam in my League
    Eliminator Status: Won
DT Studs: GAblett, Buddy, Stevie J, Goddard “possesions”,
    DT Duds: Horse, Petrie
    On the Chopping Block: None
Trades this week: Not this week
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Cloke surprisingly got me over the line in Eliminator, as opponent had Pendles and Sidebum

Strategy for next week – do nothing since I am playing bottom place in league. But eliminator might take a hit.
Next week? Turn Horse into Prddis?
