Not a bad week to have Gram on the field, he’s scored more in the first half than he’s averaged over his past 2 matches.

Finally Gram doing something good for once. Pretty consistent so far with lowest score Heppell 83. Stanley and Prestia sitting on bench with 93 and 92.

Looking like a massive week. A.Swallow to Monty is looking like a pretty sweet move by me. McEvoy got a massive 9 hitouts against Cox and NicNat!

14/1362 with another half of scoring to come from Syvlia.

Just doing a quick run through of my leagues, and pretty much all of the ones that matter are coming down to Higgins. Need him to not balls it up for me, and I should win all of them, but for some reason I’ve got this bad feeling.

Going to make for a nervous 24 hours knowing that I’m relying on Friggin Higgins to play a decent game/not do a hammy/groin/shoulder/knee/vagina. I can feel the adrenaline kicking in allready…..

    • Flying_High

      July 16, 2011 at 10:31 pm

Relying on Higgins. That would be a crappy feeling.

        July 17, 2011 at 5:33 pm

Holy shit, on 17 points 10 minutes into the second…… D:

Had the rest of my team kill it, and he’s still spudding it up enough to make me stress.

  6. Chuck Norris

    July 16, 2011 at 10:13 pm

Gaz, Nicky Dal and Swan all 101. Coincidence? I think not…

Sylvia in FWD line = Useless
    Sylvia in MIDs = Matchwinner
I just hope Bailey is noticing.

      July 16, 2011 at 10:33 pm

He’s one of the worst coach’s going around. Sylvia’s a lock for the forward line!

    13/1424

Petterd backs up Daisy’s work and suddenly my unique brigade is looking pretty good. Need Redden to follow suit and who knows?

  9. Randomdent

    July 16, 2011 at 11:31 pm

    1355 from 14/23

Capt. Boyd to come. Loving the recent work of Dal & Stanton, any time two unique(ish) players can contribute a 100+ average it’s a good thing.

Adcock is projected for 44? Hoping he can double that this week and I should go 5/5. Current projected for 2193.

  10. Chuck Norris

    July 16, 2011 at 11:31 pm

1512 from 14 players including Swan as captain. Hopefully I can maintain the average of 100 p per player and get a score of 2200 plus with Broughton, Adcock, Boyd, Pav, Chappy, ROK, Higgins and Gu to come

    • tippscut

      July 16, 2011 at 11:41 pm

Similar to me: 1486/14 including Swan (C). I have Enright, Broughton, Boyd, Bartel, Mzungu, ROK, Goodes and Petrie to come so I should also crack the 2200 barrier.

      • Blues_FC

        July 17, 2011 at 12:33 am

So 15/1512 for Chuck Norris and 15/1486 for tippscut. How hard was that?

Why don’t you get with the program. If your captain plays, you count him as 2 players.

  11. Chuck Norris

    July 16, 2011 at 11:44 pm

This isn’t my team but a mates. I need him to beat his opponent so I can secure top spot. Can he pull off the comeback?:

    Mate vs Opponent

    Lower vs Adcock
    Boyd vs Stevie J
    Boyd vs Pav +51

    • Mateyman

      July 16, 2011 at 11:59 pm

best case scenario for your mate
      lower 70 vs. adcock 60
      boyd 125 vs stevie j 85
      boyd 125 vs pav 90+51
= your mate wins by ~40

  12. JungleMuffin

    July 17, 2011 at 1:46 am

    14/1415.

Enright, Broughton, Lower, Boyd, Cross, Fyfe, Chappy, Higgins and Mzungu to go. Should really be getting mid 2200’s at the least, with alot of them maybe scoring more as they’re better than their average.

Not sure I’ll crack it, but aiming for 2300, with anything over low 2200’s acceptable.

Looking like it’s going to be a high scoring round, and with a few people copping fat ones, we might move up a few slots.

Close Eliminator this week, me being 16th overall playing him being 3rd overall

    Me vs Him

Pedersen, Redden, S. Johnson, Goldstein vs Lower, Mzungu, Pavlich + 81

I reckon it’s looking pretty good for a win to me, what do you all think?

    • Flying_High

      July 17, 2011 at 10:41 am

1325/13.. Very happy :D.. Hopefully in for a pretty big score with Lower, Mzungu, Broughton, Adcock, Boyd, Stevie J, Chapman, Fyfe, Goodes and Petrie. As long as Adcock and Petrie don’t spud it up like they did last week and Lower and Gu score reasonably for rookies I think I should be in for a pretty decent score. Hoping Boyd, Stevie and Chappy all go nuts. And I dont know about Slight Hawk’s 126, 101 seems to be the number for me this round… Dal Santo, Swan and Ablett :)

    1495 off 14

    with

    Boyd
    A.Swallow
    Enright
    Chapman
    Fyfe
    Goodes
    Petrie
    Mazungu

    Hoping for a 2200+

Earlier this week i started explaining the power of the number 126. This is the second instalment.
In this instalment i further delve into the topic and the shed some further insight into the sweet merciful jesus, known as 126. Enjoy.

    126 and Magic Numbers.

126 is known as a ‘magic number.’ It is included in a selection of other ‘magic number’. The ‘magic numbers’ are chosen because they represent the number of neutrons or protons in strongly bound and exceptionally stable atomic nuclei (or stable and powerful dream team).

When we break down the magic numbers, something unbelievable is discovered. We shall look at the first and last magic numbers, everything has to be done in symmetry. The first magic number is 2, this is the number of trades we are allowed to make each week. This number provides symmetry and balance in this world. It represents the ying and the yang and is not to be messed with. This is of course where the ‘no sideway trades’ rule stems from. Doing sideways trades does not provide symmetry and balance in the world. Thus, as a knowledgeable dream team coach, that follows the magical numbers theorem, knows trades should be done in two’s; two downgrades, two upgrades, or one downgrade and one upgrade. However, sideways are only allowed when the player has a long term injury, and you are trading him to an uninjured player. It is imperative that symmetry is maintained at all times.

126 is the last magic number and is the most powerful of them all. Ultimate stability comes from using this number. Every good thing that happens in this world can be traced back to the number 126.
