Andy Otten’s ‘indefinite’ out for his rebuilt knee means it’s definitely time to cash him out.

Eski’s return might see him being a good upgrade target after a couple of games back. At the very least, it’ll boost the available stock of lean premo defenders.

So many spot fires. Grimes…gone, Curnow, 3-4 but will prob be played through the VFL so 5-6. Otten indefinate, eeeee! Then I got Prestia, Bewick and richardson who aren’t getting a game. Shite!

      Because you don’t need $183k profit…!?!

You just missed out on the most profitable rookie this season…

Haha idiot… so you missed out on his massive scores and giant price rise… wouldn’t go bragging too much about it.

i havnt had curnow or grimes all season and im ranked 144! very happy that they both got injured and everyone will use trades

      • imofm

        May 11, 2011 at 12:07 pm

we’re all happy you didn’t have them otherwise you’d probably be number one with extra cash to spend.

Does anyone know about R. Berwick from Brissy? Just not getting picked?

    • enjay

      May 11, 2011 at 9:49 am

Voss is being an idiot, says he’s got a youth policy but isnt picking youth. Bewick and Polec are future stars but he is giving games to hacks like cheynee stiller and collier…

        i agree

    • Disco DB

      May 11, 2011 at 9:50 am

Had a bruised arse from the last time he played. I imagine he’s working his way back into it now, my guess this week or the next – as a guess.

      • Innocent Criminals

        May 11, 2011 at 9:59 am

        Good Morning All

I would be surprised if neither Polec or Bewick got a game this weekend, given how atrocious the Lions midfield was on Saturday night. I believe both are available.

I’ve been patiently keeping Bewick on the pine for the past month so fingers crossed.

Does anyone know why Jake Batchelor has a bandaid next to his name? He’s not listed as injured yet yet has a bandaid next to him. Any Richmond supporters know what’s going on?

Not that I’m planning on starting him although may need to with Gibbsy and Duigan on the bye.

I just don’t like bandaids. Especially when I see them floating at the local swimming pool.

          May 11, 2011 at 2:23 pm

Just ignore it he had one on last week aswell and still played.

            May 11, 2011 at 6:04 pm

he had it from two weeks ago, nothing wrong with him
looked very good last week, cosidering him over poo and thompson for my 7th defender this week

  5. Frankie Muniz

    May 11, 2011 at 10:46 am

Batchelor is fine, no need for a bandaid. Copped no serious knocks last week on the way to his best game for the season. Lock to play this week.

    • Innocent Criminals

      May 11, 2011 at 11:00 am

      Thanks Frank

Perhaps the bandaid officer on the DT website meant to put the bandaid on Grimes but accidentally put it on Jake.

Do you have him in your side? I’m really pleased with him and Danny Stanley – trucking along nicely.

      • Zan

        May 11, 2011 at 11:11 am

        I’m happy with Stanley too

        • Innocent Criminals

          May 11, 2011 at 11:18 am

Yeah he’s good cover Zano and there aren’t a lot of DEF downgrade options available.

I stuck with Duigan and he beat his BE (just), and I agree that Higgins is a keeper.

God knows who I’m going to trade in for Grimes – maybe Suckling, but no one really appeals.

I already have God, Delids, Enright, Gibbsy, Heppell, etc.

ps. Note that Sam Gilbert has dropped nearly $100k.

            May 11, 2011 at 12:10 pm

Any Hawk supporter out there with a comment on Xavier Ellis as a possible replacement for Grimes?

  6. BBBJCIM

    May 11, 2011 at 11:39 am

Daniel Pratt (North Melb) looks like a smokey to cover for Grimey. Priced at $294K, not bad.

    • worldcuppa

      May 11, 2011 at 12:29 pm

I’m considering Grima for Grimes but fear that both are simply plural for Grim and/or Grime – in one language or another

  7. AFFEL

    May 11, 2011 at 11:43 am

@RONALDO you were being sarcastic right ? . I see on the afl site “in the mix” it has Higgins test and i also remember Eade saying after the last game in press conference that Higgins would definatley be back this week, not that you can beleive anything they say. So i think ill have to put him on the ground and use my crappy emergency Krakouer if needed doh

    • Blue boys

      May 11, 2011 at 2:47 pm

Mate, dont put too much faith in to “In the Mix” column, look at the top as to who is the author……….”staff writers”. WTF??!!
Was an article attached to one of the DT Talk threads earlier in the week which stated Hall & Higgins would be having another week off………so have a good look for him thursday night but be prepared for him to miss.

      I would say so ;)

    May 11, 2011 at 2:40 pm

Any inside word on Steve Johnson & Libba being more than likely likely to be fit? Really need both of them to be playing.

  11. AFFEL

    May 11, 2011 at 3:59 pm

@blueboys dont worry i have no faith at all. What gave me hope was the fact Eade said he will definitely play this week in his after game jibber. Like i said if you beleive that your kidding yourself but as i only have Krakouer i may aswell start girly Higgins and have Krak emerg. Did you just sell him PMSL.

  12. AFFEL

    May 11, 2011 at 4:26 pm

I see the freako says Eade has already ruled him out where is the news article ? More likely to beleive Freako than anyone else.Missy Higgins will have to go very very soon i think. The laugh is on me Blueboys i sit corrected.

I couldn’t care less if he runs out there in a pink skirt and pigtails! If Higgins is maximum 1 week away, he’s a keeper in my team. He’s one of the best performed and underpriced forwards going round plus is a DPP as well.

Last night when i was listening to sports central here in perth they mentioned that Jamar had injured his knee and would now miss the next month. Unsure how reliable they are but just a warning to his owners dont be suprised if hes out this weekend.

Higgins higgins higgins what is going on!!! Becoming a bit unreliable now. Is trading him a viable option or should i keep him a bit longer. Missed two games now. Any thoughts and who should i trade to if trade recommended. I have 86K. Also thinking of getting rid of Goddard hes been terrible this year and has lost about 100k of his original value. who should i trade him for if i was to dump him
