Got to remove Chappy from my contingency list in my FantasyFooty draft.

Could keep Callinan and save my trades by switching him forward and back.

      March 8, 2011 at 7:32 pm

Why not use another DPP forward like Smith, Schneider, Prestia etc in the meantime and upgrade once Callinan is fit. He has to be elevated from the rookie list yet. Surely some other rookie crow will get a guernsey before him?

Now that Chappy is a little suspect it has freed up some cash, a situation which has many advantages.

        March 9, 2011 at 2:59 pm

With Schneider (HAW), we can save our trades just to use him as a DPP and then trade him to Callinan in round 11.

One of my edges is now gone, great!

I never had him and was super confident the dollars spent on him would be better elsewhere.

Everyone will upgrade to him now, which was my plan.

    • mattyb

      March 8, 2011 at 9:03 pm

Me too… Everyones backs are the same, and now the forwards will be exactly the same too by round 1

      • mtooler

        March 8, 2011 at 9:37 pm

You know how to get the edge back, I guess, its risky but pick him for round 1 if he is named. Everyone will be off him now.

You had him in your team in the first place?

  11. ProudLion1991

    March 8, 2011 at 9:34 pm

it says 2-3 weeks and round one is 3 weeks. if he is named in round 1 i still think you’d be silly not to go with him he is an absolute juggernaut.

    • mtooler

      March 8, 2011 at 9:40 pm

I think I will just go against the crowd on this one, if their on Chappy, i’m off, and vice versa.

Anyway how many heart palpatations did geelong give us last year with their last minute naming and pulling of players on game day. Giving us this much notice may mean either:
      1. Chappy’s passed away
      2. He’ll be good to go round 1.

    • Benatration

      March 9, 2011 at 5:33 pm

Round 1 is 2 weeks away, not 3

    March 8, 2011 at 10:08 pm

with dids and chappy under a cloud u have to choose one i think. u will want both in ur team eventually though if injury affects there scores they may be easy upgrades, but i trust neither to not pump out a big score the week before upgrade time….who to start with? hope dids plays this week
